Biography

Sarah Pietrkiewicz is a Canadian wildlife photographer, and a nature lover, who lives in Toronto, Canada.

Before getting into photography, Sarah always felt a deep and special connection to the natural world, which is why she decided to attend York University to study the environment.

After graduating, Sarah began working in the not-for-profit industry, and specializing in marketing, web, and design; eventually putting those skills to use at a conservation and wildlife charity.

In the spring of 2019, Sarah had an unusual amount of wildlife encounters.  She decided to bring an old point-and-shoot camera with her to document all these experiences.  However, not happy with low resolution, blurry photos to look back on, she decided to buy her first professional camera to properly capture these special moments.  Since then, Sarah has fallen in love with photographing wildlife, and the natural environment.
